Has OCD taken over your life?
You have thoughts that scare you that feel really shameful to talk about.
These thoughts do not seem to align with your values and who you are as a person. Some common themes include:
Fear that you miss something and will end up harming others emotionally or physically.
Fear of harming yourself, your health, your mental well-being.
Sexual content that feels inappropriate to you, including fear of sexually abusing children.
Fear you’re the wrong sexual orientation or gender identity (when evidence shows otherwise, not typical questioning phase).
Fear if you don’t clean well enough or check on something thoroughly enough, it will cause irreversible damage.
Fear of not doing right by God, causing you or your children to go to hell.
You try to control these thoughts and the intense anxiety that comes with them, but they just seem to stick harder.
Replaying the memories, seeking reassurance, checking, counting, washing, googling, avoiding and other compulsions become exhausting, time-consuming, and hurts your self-esteem and relationships, making you feel “crazy.”
You may have even tried talk therapy and found yourself stuck in the same place or feeling even worse.
I’ve had intensive training in effective and compassionate treatment approaches for helping you heal from OCD and get your mind and life back.
I am passionate about using evidence-based treatments like I-CBT (Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention) and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) to help you gain freedom from OCD and feel more present with life.
